What will be your responsibility?
Maintaining, monitoring, troubleshooting and installing a complex solution containing over 120 MS Windows Server 2003 hosting application servers, file servers, backup servers, IIS servers, domian controllers, SQL 2000 Servers, SQL 2005 Servers, BizTalk 2004 Servers, VMware ESX servers
• OS and Application releases deployment, patch installations, logging and investigating defects, etc.
• Communicating directly with client and consulting team in Western Europe
• Incident handling (Remedy application)
• SQL/Transact SQL scripting, batch scripting
• Managing tape backups using HP DataProtector
Requirements
What are we looking for?
• Advanced in administration of MS Windows Server 200x
• Advanced in administration of IIS Server, domain controllers
• Experience with SQL 2000 Server, SQL 2005 Server, SQL/Transact SQL scripting
• Experience with batch scripting
• Aware of VMware ESX servers or Hyper-V
• English language at least on Upper Intermediate level
• Ability to work in an independent, self-directed manner and to perform equally as well as part of a team
• Communication, inter-personal, documentation, and troubleshooting skills
• B.S. in Computer Science or other technical degree or equivalent work experience required
Nice to have:
• HP DataProtector
• BizTalk 2004 Server administration
• Any other Microsoft Server product administration
