Job description
We are expanding the cooperation with our Austrian partner on a project in the area of mobility. Thus, we are looking for a skilled senior firmware developer with a problem solving attitude that has good communication skills and likes challenges in the field of programming measurement devices and complementary products using STM32 microcontrollers based on the Cortex-M3 / M4 architecture under FreeRTOS and ChibiOS in agile environment. The position is based in Bratislava with regular visits to Austria (two to three days each four to six weeks).
Requirements
We are looking for for our client a firmware developer with multiannual practice and focus on the following areas:
- Design and programming of embedded software (measuring instruments)
- Development of drivers
- Quality assurance with automatic testing
- Nice-to-have: real time OS experience, Git/Gitlab, CANBus, Jira and agile -
development
Personal qualifications:
- Active English on a communicative basis (German would be nice to have but it is not a requirement)
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related technical discipline
several years' experience in low level programming of drivers
- Experience in programming in C ++ and OOP
- Technical understanding and reading, ideally from Automotive industry environment
- Previous experience with design and development of embedded systems based on GNU / Linux
- Self-motivated personality, pro-active individual with a strong work ethic
- Autonomous team player able to work under minimal supervision
- Good communication skills and problem solving attitude
- Ability to work towards fixed deadlines
- Experience with work in international teams might be useful
